Old stuff from my Birkbeck Days
I am contributing the molecular interactions unit for the The Principles of Protein Structure Certificate course on the internet, run at Birkbeck. You can see a local copy of the molecular forces unit by following the link.
I also teach on the M.Sc. Molecular Modelling and Bioinformatics at Birkbeck, contributing to the Molecular Interactions unit. Extensive notes on the applications of optimisation to molecular structure are available. A useful link for students revising for this course (or others) is the Exam Technique page written by Donald Ross at the University of Karlstad.
Also available are the notes for a talk given to the graduate students at Birkbeck on useful programs and a page giving Tips on transferring large files to a home pc using a modem link. Novice computer users may find notes for a lecture on Introduction to e-mail using unix pine of interest.
